"Why am I always in a rush?"

Written by Admin | Jul 12, 2016

Work expands to fill the time allotted.

Without goals and deadlines we just meander through our days and through our lives.

When you’re in a rush you’re allowing too many urgent but unimportant things to fill your time. That leaves you unfocused and unproductive, but subconsciously you know what must get done.

So as the deadline approaches, your put down your phone, close Facebook, shut down Instagram and get to work…and almost get it done in time.

However, you end up being hurried, harried, and/or late to everything.

It means you have too much on your plate. You’re saying “yes” to too many things that appear to be interesting but aren’t vital to your personal and/or professional goals.

Set aside time to just chill and relax and think. Unsubscribe from 10 email newsletters today. Unfollow and/or unfriend 10 people on your social media streams. Turn off notifications for most of your social media platforms both on your mobile phone and desktop and only check your social media streams when you have time.

Also turn off notifications for email so you can focus on what needs to get done.

Once the important stuff is done, go check email and Facebook and Twitter.

I’ll bet you find more time, get more done, and arrive early and refreshed.

Good Selling,
