Zig Ziglar died at age 86 this week.
Around 1996 I was introduced to his "See You At The Top" and my life was never the same. I was still in the Air Force but knew I wanted to get out and make it in the world of selling.
Zig Ziglar has comforted, educated, inspired and motivated me along the way ever since.
Thank you for loving your wife and family as you did.
Thank you for shouting that love from the rooftop and the front of the stage and behind the microphone and in front of the camera.
Thank you for not losing your accent. Us Southern Folk should be proud of our twang.
Thank you for telling the story of going out to make a sale to have enough money to take your wife and newborn baby home from the hospital. (Having been on unemployment during the births of two of my kids I can relate!)
Thank you for your podcast. It's in my ear weekly, even though I've heard them all at least 10 times each.
Thank you for living your life at the top, for inspiring others to get to the top and I know you are truly at the top today and I hope to see you there when my time has come.
May God bless you, Zig Ziglar, the Decided Redhead and the Ziglar family.
Good Selling,
