An often overlooked nugget I show all of my clients is how to use Note Templates to act as triggers to automate many common tasks such as:
Keap Note Templates are essentially one-click options for accelerating your internal workflows.
The most inexperienced users can be taught to leverage the power of these Note Templates in a matter of minutes because you name them for the action they automate.
So as long as you have thought through the naming convention of your Note Templates, you and your team should be up and running in no time.
Let's take a look at how to create and use them.
Start in the Campaign Builder and add the "Note applied" icon to your canvas and connect it to a sequence.
Give it an "obvious" name, so you can easily look it up on the Contact record to apply it, i.e., "Cancel Subscription," "Add to Birthday Sequence," etc.
From the Contact record, scroll down to the tabs below the main contact field, and under the Tasks tab, scroll down to "Notes" and click the drop-down box on the right that says, "Note Template."
Common scenarios for using Keap Note Templates include:
You'll notice that the scenarios above are created when you interact with clients and prospects over the phone, in person, or via email.
If they come in via Web Forms, you can use that as the trigger to begin your automation.
This is a key point to remember since at least 50% of all Keap users are brick-and-mortar businesses that process a lot of their orders and client interactions live and in person.
