Today Christians celebrate Good Friday. (An innocent man is killed 2,000 years ago and we call it "Good." WTH?)
Jesus was Jewish so it was not a coincidence nor an accident that the Ultimate Sacrifice happened during the Jewish celebration of Passover. (Chag Sameach to my Jewish friends...yes, even to you, Tommy, my crazy brother-in-law!)
The Bible is replete with apparent contradictions. I say "apparent" because the Bible is the Truth and the Truth cannot be contradicted.
How do you handle apparent contradictions in your business? In your life? In your faith journey?
The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth." — Niels Bohr
"Proverbs contradict each other. That is the wisdom of a people." — Stanislaw Lec
"Don't sweat the small stuff. The devil is in the details."
"For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction." — Newton
"When faced with the concept of duality, small minds will often cling to one and disparage the other." — Roy Williams, Wizard of Ads
What are you disparaging in your job, in your personal life, in your faith journey?
Why are you fighting it so hard?
How open are you to new ideas? How open are you to the truth and the Truth?
Here's wishing you a profoundly contradicting, detail-oriented, action-packed, large-minded, fulfilling, and transformational Passover, Easter, career, and life.
