Did you get into business to be busy 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year...and to YouFaceTwitTubeBookGram it all...or to have a life?
And don't kid yourself into thinking having something to do is success.
Stop and sip the Scotch.
Sleep in.
Watch a movie.
Tell the kids they can only play three sports next year instead of six.
Join Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. (When every muscle in your body is sore...you'll slow down! Here's where I roll 5-6 days a week. Come on down for some neck rubs. :-)
And see what happens.
To you.
To your relationships.
To your business.
It'll be okay.
If you give it enough time, it'll be better than okay.
Keeping up with the Digital Joneses is a recipe for disaster.
They're all broke and empty and shallow anyway.
Surround yourself with people that are running businesses and leading their lives the way you want to.
That may mean you get a new set of friends.
That may mean you have to invest in coaching and training and masterminds to be around those types of people.
But it's worth it.
Being the richest person in the hospital is not the goal.
Now go sell something.
