Ask 10 people today "how are things?" and you'll hear:
-
1 say "I'm busy."
-
1 say "I'm so, so crazy busy."
-
1 say "Ugh. I just can't keep up."
-
1 say "There's just not enough hours in the day."
-
1 say "I wish I could clone myself."
-
(1 won't say anything as they pour another whiskey...at 8:37 am.)
-
1 lie as they say "Things are good." (They're actually horrible but they don't want to discuss it.)
-
1 lie as they go into great detail about all the awesome things they're working on. (None will work out since they have too many irons in the fire and are building fences thinking it'll keep in their unicorns.)
-
1 will say "Things are great" and mean it.
Here's what I know...
People say they're busy with more pride than saying they graduated from Harvard and won a Nobel Prize.
Really?
Yes, really.
You can tell they are frustrated, unfulfilled, unsatisfied, and frustrated.
And they think the source of their problems is the lack of time, which is why they wish they had more of it.
SECRETS are COMING...keep READING.
They also wish they were better at managing their time.
Managing...time.
You might as well seek to manage the power output of the Sun.
Wanna see how over the top our desire for controlling time is?
Do a search on Amazon under books for the topic of "time management."
It will return over 10,000 results.
TEN THOUSAND!
That's more than most people have in the bank right now.
Want to know what's even crazier?
Most books go not only unfinished but completely unread.
That's right.
You're too busy to get everything done, so you spend money on a book to get better at getting things done, but you're so bad at getting things done that the thing you bought to get good at getting things done never gets done, so not only are you not getting things done, you've spent money on not doing them, and you have punished yourself with a visual reminder of even more things you're not getting done.
(Now you know why aliens avoid visiting our planet.)
The fact is you have all the time you need and in pages 6-14 of The Make Every Sale workbook I show you how to quickly and effectively get good with your time. (I also cover it live on call #1 and I hammer it home every week as well to keep you always growing in this area.)-Wes
P.S. 1 will be so busy you won't realize there are only 9 responses out of 10 above.
